it was a cold sunday morning, AS got up and took his shower. He then knocked on my door to find me still sleeping soundly, just like a pig. we were racing against time because as usually we're always late. and the traffic in london is just awful. YUCK! oh and we learned that, i'm a lil better than the satnav. and definitely better than a satnav when i'm equipped with a map. anyway,
we then made our way to bayswater for some duck and tapau some food to bring up to manchester. we went to harrow to collect EW up after that. EW's grandmother is COOL, having pizza and all. usually old people love their porridge and old people food.
our assembled party of 3, a typical 3 pilot crew, then set out for a three and a half hour journey to manchester. with AS as Captain, me as 1st officer, and EW as 2nd officer. the motorway was kinda slow with accidents and road works. i can't recall what we talked about, just remembered we zipped through the traffic and singing to Teresa Teng's music. yes, we are aging.
arrived in manchester pretty much on time for dinner. met some of AS and EW's flatmates. it's kinda fun to have friends living in the same building. but, they don't swear as much as me,at all actually, and won't do anything stupid with me. like walking up and down the corridor with a tie as a head band with no apparent reason. boring !!!
"do not do to others what you do not want them to do to you" - i've learn this whilst in manchester. AS made me sleep on the couch because i made him sleep on the couch when he was in london. #$@$^#^&$%#@#$%
on the 1st night. me and as went to the market at 4 or 5 in the morning. we were suppose to get seafood but we ended up with 12 pots of roses. i wonder how will Queen open up to the idea of 6 pots of roses in the house. while in the market, it was a wholesale market, we were contemplating on whether to get a box of giant prawn which cost 40 quid and 3kg of scallop. but as i've suggested earlier, we got neither. we then got back and felt hungry. AS was so poor that both of us had to share ONE egg ONLY and 2 cans of baked beans. just lavish. that was before i found out that he had 2 cans of cod roe in his cupboard.
we got up at 3-4 in the evening the next day and has microwave food. mac and cheese. i watched 赤壁 (red cliff) while AS went back to bed. absolutely love that movie. love the scene where zhou yu fucked xiao qiao. after the movie, waited for the traffic to clear up then we rushed to wingyip just 20 minuted before it closes to get prawn and salted duck egg. we forced EW to give us 4 eggs as levy to us. for dinner me and AS had prawns, 5 quid worth of prawns translate to about 1KG of prawns. steamed chicken eggs with salted duck egg. the 3rd ingredient missing in the egg was century egg. they were out of stock.
i waited eagerly for EW to join us but it never happened. it just never happened. we then went to a casino to gamble our disappointment away. the blow was too great for us to bear and we just could not stay in the house. after the casino we went to the market again just to find it not open. we returned home to watch a movie. which was another huge disappointment again. utter garbage. we were at the brink of crying ourselves to sleep that morning.
it was not until evening we got up. AS cooked some chicken he had in the freezer and fried 2 duck eggs. it was good. took a shower then EW came by. we watched CNN on the US election. it was a concrete evidence that a huge chunk of US population was disgustingly obese. then when EW got bored, we switched to some adult channels. both of them thought it was too mild for their taste. we ended up watching a documentary on the 6 wives of King Henry. i forgot which henry. i think it's the 7th. probably i'm wrong. 3 of his wives' name was Katherine. i suppose parents those days weren't very gifted.
AS then decided he don't like me no more and sent me back to london that instance. we took approximately 3 hours to reach my house. after a packet of ramen then he left for manchester. he didn't reach manchester until 5.30 in the morning. he's probably asleep still right now.
ps - i didn't know that picture of a harlot can be so... hmm... can't find a word.... not pretty, not cute, not beautiful.. but so.. so enticing. yup, that's about right.
